The Philosophers and the Changing

Giuseppe Cacciatore, professor emeritus at the University ‘Federico II’ of Naples, discusses, with a journalistic slant, an article by Giorgio Agamben published in the newspaper ‘Il Manifesto’ in February 2020, which presents a reflection on the emergency generated by the current pandemic. Cacciatore argues that the concept of emergency presupposes and conveys an unprecedented concept of changing, within which it is possible to define the role and contribution that intellectuals and technicians must offer for a world in a clear change of perspective.
