The ‘antediluvian’ novelty of a global pandemic. Dialogue on Covid-19 / On the epidemic situation

Paolo Quintili, Professor of Philosophy at the Tor Vergata University in Rome, discusses the pandemic starting from Alain Badiou’s essay entitled ‘On the Epidemic Situation’. The interpretation of the pandemic event is linked to the western capitalist model, on whose mutations critical philosophy is called to reflect. New forms of political praxis must be inaugurated with respect to these.
