This is the hope that the author of ‘Nel contagio’ delivers to our time. Paolo Giordano, from Turin, has a doctorate in physics, is the author of several novels including ‘La solitudine dei numeri primi’ (Mondadori 2008, Premio Strega and Premio Campiello Opera Prima) and collaborates with the ‘Corriere della Sera’. ‘Nel contagio’, published in Italy by Einaudi in early March 2020, is currently being translated into the main European languages and into more than thirty countries, including Iran, South Korea, China, Russia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Japan.
